From the initial “Jarre” model, the Syrtis has changed quite a bit and It’s taken a few years for me to really get the design nailed down to the point I was content with it. The overall idea was to have a main central section and free floating “wing” sections, all connected via resin channels. Aside from giving the guitars an interesting aesthetic, it also allows for some extra customisation. Customers can mix and match different woods for the central and wing sections, and really make a Syrtis their own.
The Syrtis models are complex and fiddly to build but they can really make for unique and personal guitars.
